Blaise
Hunt
Co-Op Student From CIT
Blaise's Eagle Scout Project transformed local parks, introducing bird, bat, and owl boxes to provide safe havens for wildlife. His dedication saw new habitats established at Ballas Meadow Preserve, Heintzelman Park, and Albert Ponds, enriching the community's enjoyment of these spaces. Through tireless fundraising efforts, including organizing a successful car wash, Blaise secured the necessary funds for his vision. With the support of volunteers gathered through troop meetings and the guidance of his grandfather, he meticulously prepared and installed the nesting boxes. Despite challenges such as relocating bat boxes and procuring a purple martin colony, Blaise's determination never wavered. Through this project, he honed invaluable skills in planning, organization, and leadership, leaving a lasting impact not only on the parks but also on all those who supported him along the way.
