Jim began his electrical career path in 1978 with Reese Weaver Electrical/Mechanical contracting out of Collegeville, PA. He worked many years for R. J. Skelding prior to opening W. J. & R. Electrical, Inc in 1995. As President/CEO of W. J. & R. Electrical, Inc. he developed the business to service Commercial, Industrial and Institutional clients in the Lehigh Valley area. Jim holds a masters license and is versed in all aspects of the electrical and data transmission design and installation fields. Over the 27 year span of W. J. & R. many projects were designed and managed to achieve the clients operational and budgetary satisfaction
In 2021 the opportunity to join with BEI Electrical was presented and Jim became a part of the BEI team. Jim looks forward to helping the BEI team with his design, administration and management experience into the future. Jim was active in Associated Builders and Contractors as a board member and a 2 term President of the Eastern PA ABC group. Outside the office Jim was involved with the creation and operation of sports
activity programs for special needs children, he also enjoys flying and racing cars.
